Another beautiful day here next to Lake Superior, with the sun out and the leaves in full color. Even with the high winds yesterday, the leaves really did not come down. This has been a good trip based on the colors of the leaves.
With the high winds yesterday, I stayed in Copper Harbor for an extra day, since my length and eighth of my trailer really catches the wind. But, as I traveled to Ontonagon today, I noticed that I would have been shielded the tress on both sides of the highway. However, regarding my hiking yesterday, I got some good photos in with about four-foot waves with the sun shining that really added to the photos.
I am really enjoying the long evening up here, since early evening really takes a toll on one’s constitution. I can sure see a benefit if day savings time was year around, although it would be like 9:00 in the morning when the sun would come up here.
I a trying to decide if I should stay here for another day and go into the Porcupine State Park and take photos of the leaves, since it is hard to leave this area with the beautiful scenery.
I have Bible study in a few minutes, so I will go for now.
