The breaking news today is: my inters are leaking out of my body.” In scientific words, I have three hernias. One on the right side (the big one), one on the left side, and one in the center (the belly button). This all sounds and fell routine until the doctor states that he will have me under for three to four hours and one night in the hospital. I guess that it is routine until one understands that it is not just one side but three locations. They will be using the robotic-assisted surgery, unless there is too much scar tissue from the incision and then they would have to make a bigger opening. The magnitude for this surgery is bigger than expected.
As for tomorrow, it is off to see the cardiologist. I feel fine, and I feel that my heartbeats are behaving themselves. Even if I walk up a grade, my heart beats are not that high. I feel that I like the beats are under 130 per minute according to my I watch, and they are to be fairly accurate. From the test that they have been taking, it seems like every thing is fine.
The surgeon showed me the CT scan of my abdomen, and most of it looks good, with a few exceptions. I have a few gallstones, but I already knew that. I have plaque adhered to the major blood vain, and I know that, too, from another cardiologist. I wonder if this plaque is the reason I get winded walking up a grade, but I got to ask the surgeon today. Furthermore, he did show me the hernias that I had a hard time seeing.
This is my health report for today.
