Journal Entry – My health

There was a sore spot in my lower left abdomen, so they did a CT scan and found the hernia that was found in the late 1980s that was not fixed, since the assessed appendix was more pressing on the day of the operation. Yesterday they found that my badder is being forced through the hernia, and I was scheduled to see surgeon Thursday.

This morning I found that the heart beats were up to again 150 beats per minute. After they got my pulse down to normal, they transferred me to intensive care to start a Diltiazem IV dip, and I have been here ever since. Late this afternoon the heart beats when up again. To give you comfort, they are working with a Mayo Clinic Cardiologist.

This is a little hard to understand, since I am not experiencing any of the signs of a rapid heart beat, since I a feeling normal. I do not feel like I have finished a hard run or a hard climb up a mountain, and I am not light headed. It feels hard to justify the rapid heart beat.

I will just have to see what tomorrow brings. Since I am trying on my I Pad on my lap and an oxygen sensor on my right index finger, I am going to call on typing for today.
