Journal Entry – Scotland Day Nine

Today is my last day in Scotland. Since it was cold and cloudy this morning, I stayed in the resort this morning. I walked down town for a plough man’s lunch. I was a verity of ham, pork, vegetables, and dinner roll all in small portions. I took a short walk a trail down by the River Dee.

There are two pheasant within twenty feet of the patio door.

I am going to miss this place, since I have been overwhelmed by the number of trails, the geology, and the use of common workmen to build granite stone houses, buildings, and churches. I am coming back to Scotland, but some how I have to figure out how to see the entire country, since Hilton does not have hotels to the west and north of here where I really want to study the geology and hike the many trails. They stated that bed and breakfast might be the best way to get around, but I just when on the web and found that I could rent small motorhomes at a reasonable price, so this may be the best way to get around. As for right now, I am going to plan to come back to Scotland every other year. In the mean time, I am gong to study Scotland, and I purchased a geology book today on Amazon.

Since I am going to start packing my suitcase now, I am going to sign off for now, since I leave here at 6:00 in the morning for the airport. This flight might not be so bad, since the plane is not flying through the night. In other words, I get in to ORD at 2:15 or 8:15 here. It seems like I will not be as tired when I get to Wisconsin as I was when I got here.

I will see if I write a Journal Entry tomorrow or not, since I will be in the air most of the day, but I have more to write about Scotland.
