Journal Entry – Scotland Day Seven

It rained all day with the high of 44 degrees. Since I woke up too early this morning, I took a morning nap and read and wrote this afternoon. I am reading a book that I found here in the room on The Scots A Genetic Journey that I have found to be interesting. After a volcano eruption about 44,000 years ago, there as left a group of Homo sapiens left in Africa, and our works of people distributed from that origin to the population densities that we have today. We have away been on the move.

I finished typing my essay on property owner voting in this country. If we would have followed the framers suggestion this country would look a whole lot different. It would have forced property owners to have more of a say in our government and probably a whole less protestor that don’t know what they are voting for to begin with. A different would.

For supper, I walked downtown, after the rain, and bought a venison burger at the Balmoral Bar. I am not sure what they mixed into the all they mixed into the meat, but there was no taste of venison. The sandwich was really different, but worth a try. When dad was butchering dear, he would add equal parts of beef and pork. Although it did alter the taste of venison, there more venison to last us though the winter.

I am here in Scotland, and I find all kinds of things that revert back to the USA. The sink in the bathroom is a Kohler, and to night at the bar they were watching a Boston/Detroit baseball game. The list just goes on and on. When I come to the electronically, every place takes our credit cards and every place has a wifi. From the little construction that I have seen, like home and building construction, everything looks better than a person could find in the states. I will probably have more to write about this issue.

Well I did not make it to Balmoral Castle today due to the rain, so I will try again tomorrow, and it is not to be raining then. I guess that we will just have to see what tomorrow brings.
