Journal Entry – Scotland Day Six

The King of England is here in Scotland, an I saw his flag flying over Balmoral Castle, today. He attended church at Crathie. My guide for today, stated that I probably could have seen him, if I went in the church while he was there, but I guess that I was more interested in see more of Scotland. I really did not want go to the church during the church service, although it probably would have been find.

My morning was interesting to say the least. My Guide with Norwegian ancestry was just a little taller the me and was probably around 250 pounds. Was dressed in a green sports coat that was too small for him and blue jeans. He knew that area well, and he had good information about the area. However, I would state that he was an average tour guide.

I was his only client that he had in the car, today. We were not on the tour for a very long time, and he saw some eggs to buy, so we stopped. This part was very eye opening. When he bent down, and that was not very far, I was pleasured to see about 80 percent of his bare buttocks, since his pants were down that far from his waist. Do I need to state that he had no belt. Oh mg God. It was not a good sight. I did not pay much attention to his rear end for the rest of the day, but I cannot believe that anyone would go into the public like this.

He runs his own business, and he stated that I got a tour that night cost me 450 pounds from other companies. Therefore, with the deductions that he gave me, I spent 250 pounds for the tour. Although he was pleasant to be around, I feel that our personalities were not the same, but I do not believe that it is because he is Scottish. If anyone has ever seen the DR Martin British TV Series, this man fits the image of Bert Large acted by Ian McNeice. We had talked about making this a day tour, but with the conversation cost at the ATM, it really made the day trip cost too expensive. I am also not sure that I would have been comfortable being around him for an other half day. I do believe that 250 pounds was correct for today’s tour. It was not a polished tour by any sorts.

Since I am here in UK, I was thinking about going to church here, since it different here, since King Henry VIII removed the Catholic Church. It can down to the tour or going on the tour, so I chose the tour, since, I wanted to get to know the area and people better. The next time that I am here, I will have to try to attend church here.

It is suppose to rain to more, so it might be a good time to go to Balmoral Castle. Or, at least, these are my thoughts for now.
