Deflection

I am still in my hotel room. It stopped snowing this afternoon. The low last night was 9 degrees and the high today of 20 degrees. I have not drove today, since I have every thing that either in my room or with in walking distance.

last evening the IHOP was the only restaurant open, and they stated that they are open 24/7. That might make a difference.

I went for a walk today in a park about five hundred feet from here. yesterday, I could walk on the concrete paved trail, and it took me about 30 minutes to walk. Today there was enough snow to that I was unable to find the trail in the snow, so there must have 4 to 5 inches of snow.

Tonight it is to drop down to zero degrees. I am so happy that I am not in my trailer, but I am spending more time in the Hotel than I wanted.

As I look at the future weather forecast, it appears that the low for both Monday and Tuesday nights will 12 degrees. It looks like I am spending more time in the hotel. The temperature is to get up to 43 degrees on Wednesday, so maybe I will leave here on Thursday.

The sun is out now, so hopefully it will start to melt some of the dark area. With the sun’s power down here, it would seem like it would melt the snow fast. I am hoping that the highways will be melted off by Thursday.

I guess that the saga continues for another day. Since the people have probably canceled their plans for this weekend, it does seem to be quiet around here.
