The workers of this county always have issues that come up when a democratic president is in office. The first notable issues is inflation that leads to strikes and jobs being moved out of this country. This saga has become obvious during the end of Biden’s term of office comes to an end.
Ronald Reagan called it a misery index: double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, and double digit home mortgages. With high inflation, workers go to their union bosses and scream that they cannot pay their bills with their current income. The union bosses tells the owners that the workers need a pay increase, and the owners state that they do not have the extra fund. This leaves the owners with four options: increase the price of the final product, move the business out of the country, sell the business, or go out of business. Not only are these options not good for the workers but it is also not good for the owners.
One way to increase inflation is to increase taxes. By increasing taxes, the companies are not making a profit and the workers have less spending money. With the current administration’s policy of no carbohydrates, is another way of increasing inflation. If the oil companies have areas where they cannot drill, even if they to not harming the environment, the price of petroleum goes up and everything that a person buys goes up, since everything in this country has to be transported. As we have seen in the last three years, we have run away inflation.
If a company increases the cost of the final product and people stop buying their product because the prices is too high, then the company has to evaluate their best option. They come down to these choices: bring the cost for the product down by laying off workers, move operations out of the country, or close the company. Lay off are never good for the owners and/or the workers, but it is a measure to deal with the inflation. All of the workers lose their jobs if the companies move operations out of the country or close the company.
The workers face deferent challenges with high inflation. If they ask for higher wages, they could lose their job. They can go on strike, but that assumes that the company will serve the strike. If the company moves operations out of this country, they will lose their jobs. Only unions that are tied to public service can keep their jobs after a strike. There is no good answer for the workers.
During every election, the democratic candidates are looking for support from the workers by promising good wages, better working conditions, and jobs not exported out of the country. The problem is that once a democrat is in office, they totally forget the promises that they have made to the workers, since they are only looking for power. Power to control the people; power to push unattainable goals. As previously stated, they push for a policy of no carbohydrates. Their policies include, but not limited to: diversity, equity, and inclusion; law fare; transgender rights; and the list goes on and on. The democrats will not follow any moral and/or religious values, since there is no power following these type of values. All of these policies have nothing to with the campaign policies promised to the workers.
It is clear that the workers of this country are not aware that that democrats are only interested in their vote, and not the workers way of live, since they are only interested in the power that they receive in office. But, regarding this last election, it is clear that the workers are on to the power grabbing democrats.
By studying history, it becomes clear that history will continue to repeat itself. The democratic saga is no different. Since President Carter, this cycle of high inflations has been repeated leading to misery for the workers.
There need to be changes in the work force. Unions demanding that their workers vote for the democratic candidate needs to stop, since the unions are supporting the democratic saga; therefore, if the workers vote democratic, then the unions have the power to stay in existence. The workers need to vote their conscience. Unfortunately, until the workers vote their conscience, the democratic saga will continue.
