Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion

During the month of November, Boeing eliminated their diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) program. Tractor Supply Company was targeted by DEI protesters, and the company eliminated their DEI program in June. With the success that Robby Starbuck had protesting Tractor Supply Company, the treat of the protestors that followed Starbuck has lead many other companies to eliminate there program. However, the DEI program in not limited to business, since our government, including the military, strictly use a DEI program, and the government looks fondly on DEI contracts with private companies. The military is not a place for DEI. The Pendleton Act of 1883 first brought a merit program into government. Then in 1964 the Civil Rights Act was signed, and this has lead to the mess that our citizens are facing today.

Boeing has had major issues that have become public like the KC-46 Pegasus refueling arm, two B-373Max airliners crash, cannot get the B-777X certified, and two astronauts stranded in a space station since they were unable to fly back from space in their own spacecraft. This is a far cry from the crew that was in the Space Center Houston during the Apollo 13 space incident. By employing the best people that money could buy, and everyone wanted to work for NASA, Gene Kranz had the best people on hand to bring the space capsule home. At that time, there was no DEI program, and by following the Pendleton Act, the best people at NASA were promoted. As stated, with DEI, there are astronauts stranded in space. At the same time, Space X, without a DEI program, has made several successful space trips to the space station and back.

It is documented that Boeing’s Sara Liang Bowing, laid off DEI Director, express pride in team work and acknowledging both its challenges and accomplishments with the DEI program. NASA has documented that unqualified Boeing employees working on spacecraft. Her accomplishments are the astronauts in stranded spaces. Under previous CEO Dave Calhoun, pledged to increase black representation to 20% by 2025. There are 12.5 percent blacks in the United States. This move has to lead to under qualified staff at Boeing. In the past, everyone looked up to Boeing with pride, just look at the planes that have made a difference in our country like the B-17, B-29, B-52 and F-15. With the major upgrades that are coming up on the B-52, it can only be hoped that they are not using a DEI enjoinment on this aircraft. They are making new upgrades to the F-15 that will keep it into the air for years to come, without the stealth of the F-22 and F-35, so they can still do good work.

There is no place for DEI on the military. It should be based on a merit system that does include women and minorities. The key word is merit. US Grant was not ahead of his class as a West Point graduate, he was not an exceptional officer for the first few years of being in the Army, and he was not a successful businessman before the Civil War. But, after he got into the Civil War, he excelled wining his battles by being aggressive. Abraham Lincoln took note of how aggressive that his was during each battle. By showing his that he was an excellent general, he was eventually promoted, by merit, to general of the army. Women have a roll in the military too, since they have exceptional skills need to a successful battle. Women have follow their men to the battlefields. At a reenactment at Vincennes, Indiana, the women had followed General George Rogers Clark to the battlefield that was a long ways from Virginia during the Revolutionary War. They were there to support their men in the war. Although women were is a supporting roll at that time in history, there are plenty of jobs in the military for them in today’s military.

In accordance to the current selection process at the military academies, the selection by white men, women and minorities. So, when selecting applications, they do not select the top applicants until they have a full class. Assume that each class gets 1,000 students, according to the current program, the academy selects a shot gun of different from last say 3,000 applicants. This means that they are selecting 500 students that ranked between 1 to 1,000, 300 students that ranked between 1,001 to 2,000, and 200 students that ranked between 2,001 to 3,000. Once an infinity platoon becomes pined down by the enemy, they are going to be look at there lieutenant to get them out of gun fire, and they are not going to be looking to see if the lieutenant is a white man, woman, or a minority, but they will be looking for the person with leadership to get out of there current mess. So, instead of getting someone with good leadership that was not selected out of the top 1,000 military applicants, they get someone out of the bottom 1,000 of the applicants that is either a woman or a minority. The troops heart sinks not know that they are going to get out alive. If the platoon gets wiped out because of the lieutenant, the woke people will state that the lives of the platoon were expendable, since the selection process is more important. This is a sad place for the captain to be in written letters to the parents and spouses of the fallen infantrymen.

It has not been that many years ago that homosexuals were not allowed in the military, since the other solders know that they cannot depend on homosexual solders. The homosexual solder goes to battle trying to protect their love one, without any care for the mission; therefore, regarding the actions of the homosexual solder, they could cause a whole platoon to be wiped out. Once again, the Woke people would clearly state that having homosexuals in the military is more important than the lives in lost in a platoon kill by the enemy.

During WWII, General Eisenhower was selected as the supreme commander base on his past record of command and loggistics and education. He had the ability to know where all of the troops were in the field and to know where all of the supplies for the soldiers were at and needed. As for the invasion on D-Day is concern, the Sun Tzu’s, The Art of War, was used and maybe the first time in modern day battle; thus, Eisenhower was given the title supreme commander, with all the generals under him his command, including the ally generals. He ranked 61 in a class of 161 at West Point. Like US Grant, his first assignments were not very colorful, like taking a platoon from one United States coast to the other. He received the title of supreme commander by his merit, since he had proven that he could lead, with all of the back up supplies, in an invasion. Furthermore, his rank did not come without controversy, especially when other ally countries were not happy that their generals where obeying the commands of a United States general. The youngest four star general appointed in WWII was General Mark Clark, and he graduated 110 out of 136 students. After a promising career, he commanded the troops with the invasion of Italy. But, once he his troops landed, he hesitated before having them moving inland letting the Germans build a defense for the invasion, and his hesitation cause the lives of many of solders. When selecting a supreme commander, it seems like Eisenhower was the clear choice. Although Clark was qualified, he did not have the leadership that Eisenhower had at the time. According to the Woke people, if Clark would have been a woman or a minority, Clark would have been the clear choice.

Pendleton Act of 1883 introduced a merit system into hiring federal employees, since the president could appoint unqualified people for life into positions. This bill does promote qualified people into position, just like the federal staff that brought Apollo 13 back to earth. This is the system that should be used today, promoting the best person for the position.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 introduced hiring equity. From the onset, this bill means that women and minorities should not be passed over during the hiring practices, and this goes back to the Pendleton Act, where the best person is hired for any position. But this is not what came out of the Act, since women and minorities are being promoted over all white males. If a woman or minority makes the merit list, then they are hired over the white males, with a fake selection process. To take this selection process even more out of proportion, there are goals for hiring women and minorities assuring that the best person does not get promoted. There is a twenty point difference in IQ scores between blacks and whites. This is not to look down on the blacks, but it is to note the physical/factual differences between the races that the general public is unaware of and the Woke people does not want the general public to know. So, let’s take Boeing hiring 25 percent blacks into highly technical positions. It is no wonder that we have two astronauts stranded in a space station. The none DEI company Space X, will bring them back to earth. This should not be taken out of context, since there are good blacks in our population.

DEI does not represent human mature, since people do expect the best person to be promoted. By promoting a minimum qualified person does bring down a whole organization, when the employees are expecting to work with the best qualified person. The argument by the Woke people to promote the minimum qualified people is that it brings extra funds into the minority population. But, as with the best qualified people, they have learned to respect money both at work and at home. This does make for a stronger country. It should also be noted that even the best person for a position may not work out, since we are all human and misconceptions can be made during the hiring process.

DEI has made for a weak country. What are the white males to do for a living? Even if a highly intelligent white male makes the cut into college, why should the even graduate with a bachelor’s degree? Since they are subjected to harassment by the professor, there is nothing to keep them there after their first year, unless they are extreme dedication to make a difference in their chosen major. Therefore, the most intelligent people are not in research, causing the whole country does suffer. Just as the two astronauts are suffering on the space station.

DEI should have never been introduced in this country, since it has lead to a number of disasters. The current LA is burning to the ground by mismanagement of water resources, with the city staff bragging about their woman and minority goals. If women and minorities do make the minimum qualifications, they should be considered of the vacant positions. The applicants should be rated process during the interview, with documentation. As with the Civil Rights Act, organizations should not always over look women and minorities. There should be screen process to match people with the human skills that they were born with, since a person working in an area that they have no talent for will make them and the people around them frustrated, and this is not to indicate that people, even with the talent for a position, will have to work hard to get the position. As we see the DEI program being dissolved through this country, it will take at least a decade to bring this country back to where it was when the Apollo 13 back to earth.
