Deflection

June 29, 2023, the US Supreme Court struck down the use of affirmative action for college entrance applications. Instead of colleges selecting the best and brightest students for higher education, there had to be a number of minorities. This has had a devastating effect on our societies, but it goes so much deeper than just the selections process with the whites being hazed by the college professors. Therefore, the best and brightest students are not getting into advanced research, although the Woke people would state that society is better off since affirmative action is rising the income level of the minorities. Although affirmative action is not something that the founding father’s ever thought about or could have ever predicted, they did support capitalism and capitalism does lead to the best and brightest in leadership rolls. Therefore, without the best and brightest in leadership rolls, the vision of the founding father’s as been bent out of shape. But, with the Supreme Court striking down application affirmative action, there is a glimpse of hope that the application process with become unbent and meet the vision of the founding fathers.

If a person was walking down a sidewalk with a high intelligence, what would their physical characteristics look like? Although there are many places on the internet to find the answer to this question, it seem like 99 percent of the population has never thought about this item in there day to day life. A person with high intelligence will be male, tall, blue eyes, blonde, probably quiet, a deep thinker, and the oldest of his siblings. The oldest in a family gets five extra points on the IQ test over their sibling, regardless if they are male or female, and there are several reasons for this phenomenon. The oldest is mentored by and given more responsibility by aunts, uncles, grandparents, and parents, since they have more time to spend with the oldest than the other children that come along. The oldest grows up this a better knowledge of the family history and their siblings. In other words, they know how each of the family members operate on every topic.

By being the oldest, they are force to think all topics through, since they know the characteristic of everyone around them. They know what is going on. My grandmother had twelve siblings. Many years after her oldest brother past away, it was stated that he knew the family, but that he was not talking. Therefore, with the oldest being deep thinkers, know that ramification from every action that takes place. Consequently, since they know that others may take opposition to their knowledge, they may stay quiet.

In todays political environment for the highly educated, they may get frustrated and quit academia. As Robert Einstein found out in school, it is total boring for the highly intelligent, since he was a poor student. But there are others of high intelligence that can easily make it to the top of the class. Therefore, as with what is being taught by many teachers, the minorities are the better class of people, and should be moved along academically for higher education. In other words, minorities should be moved into high education by race and not by intellect. By the time that highly intellectually students getting to high school, they are being forced into high school society, not education, and the society values that they are being tough they will never use again in their life. My nephew spent grade school and junior high in christian schools, and was hazed in high school to the point that left him devastated for years. But, when it comes to a highly intelligent person, they are only looking to get through the school system, on with their life, into higher education, and could careless about school politics, since focusing in on details of education is so much more simulating.

Even Robert Einstein had a problem with the college entrance appellation, since he was spending all of his time studying the areas of academics that interested him. So, even in today’s environment, it can be difficult for the highly intelligent to get accepted in to collage, but that may be the easy part of college life considering the political environment. In 1979, I took my required speech class and the professor stated that affirmative action was the best thing that has ever happen in America. The students stated that it is best for society to promotes someone the minimum requirements and have them work in a corner while others covered for them. She stated that statement was correct. Today, it can be easily seen minorities in leadership rolls where others are doing the work. The sad parts is the one that are accomplishing all of the work never get any recognition.

When it can time for me to give one of my required speeches, I had a sinus infection and was unable to give the speech. After returning to class, I asked the professor when I should give the speech, and her answer was, “since you are a white male you feel that you need special privileges?” No, since I was enrolled in the class, I need to give my speech. And, race had nothing to do with me giving my speech. I was only there to get my degrees so that I could practice engineering. As stated above, since this was in 1979, things have to be worse for the white males in today’s academic environment. Since highly intelligent people are only looking for an education, there is no reason for them to staying in this type of hostel environment.

If a highly intelligent people do not enter academia, where do they end up in society? They end up going into a successful self employed business. Although they are challenging their mind, they are not making much of a contribution on society. Researchers like Doctor Jonas Salk, developer of the Polio vaccine, may never get to the research lab in today’s academic environment. (Two member’s in my mom’s family had Polio.) By reviewing medical research today, like the Mayo Clinic, the researchers have been bought in from other countries, since foreign colleges do not have a quota system on race. Furthermore, as you hear from the academic world, today’s American students do not want to work hard enough to attend college majors that take total dedication.

Without the best and brightest in college, high end research is not being carried out in our society. Although the research is still being carried out, it is just not at the pace pre-affirmative action. This is the cost of affirmative action.

But there is a problem with meetings being carried out with the most highly intelligent people. They are all looking at the problem on one perspective, and this can lead to areas of research being missed or not thought of during a project. Therefore, diversity is best in this type of environment. Consequently, what does diversity look like in academia? It is not leaving the best and brightest out of research project.

Academia has stated over and over again that diversity is for a student growing up and working in his father’s french restaurant to be come a microbiologist. Or, for a student that has grown up in his father’s Italian art studio to be come a nuclear physicist. As with Robert Einstein, how does a college anticipate keeping the student from becoming total bored in an environment that they do not care about studying? They will probably drop out. (Colleges keep minorities in majors that they do not care about by stating that they will be in a position with a major salary.). Diversity can be achieved sending students to other colleges, usually in other countries, to study. Then the student can understand that people can have different points of views on the same topic. As for me, I spent a week and a half on a game farm in South Africa and found out that blacks see things from a different points of views, but that we can all live and work together. It seems like all colleges do have a program for the students to study abroad for a semester that works well for the students to see the world from a different perspective.

What does a research team with them members being only the best and the brightest? It would be a very well running group of researchers only focused their area of study. But the group would be sterile, as stated above, since they would have no input from other persecutive of their work. What would a Woke research team look like? They would never show up on time and the main interest would be on social programs. The research at hand would not be focused on and all accomplishments would be delayed. What should a research team look like? They should be a team that gets along well together, and, if a person does notify in to the team, they should be replaced. The members should come from different universities without any regard to sex or race. It should be a fine running team of professionals.

Who should lead of a research team? Should be the one that is the most intelligent? But that is not always true. By being the most intelligent, the individual does understand the ramification of all the discussion that are made. At times, understand the ramifications does paralyze the intelligent person from making decisions, and this will stop a highly intelligent person from taking on a leadership roll. The highly intelligent person does understand leadership, but they are also quite, since they are deep thinkers. Research teams are lead by manager that allow the intelligent staff to concentrate on their research and this model does work well in a supportive team. How is probably the best way for a research team to be lead? Probably with one of the intelligent individuals to be asked to lead the team. Therefore, the intelligent person gets the support that they need to lead the group in to great discoveries.

During training at the US Air Force Officer’s Training, the flight commander came in and ask a simple question to the trainees: how is the US Military going to win the next war? Since the question caught the trainees by surprise, they just kind of looked at each other without an answer. The flight commender when on to state that next war would be won with the military personnel being the best train force in the world. By thinking about this question, it does make sense. The training will carry the personnel through the war regardless of physical, topographical, and equipment issues. But, as for the military academies, the best students are not being selected, but only the best students per race. In the heat of battle, the military personnel couldn’t care less about a person’s race, they are looking for the best person with the ability, knowledge. and leadership to get them out of their current situation. By not selecting that best and the brights in the academies, one of two items will probably happen: extra military personnel will be killed on the battlefield or the military put more students through officers training from college until they have enough of the best and brights leading in the battlefield. However, by reading the syllabus for the academies, affirmative actions was left out of the syllabus. Although the wordage is vague, it indicates that this type of discrimination comes up the military laws. It looks like there is a big need to get the academies selection process reviewed by the US Supreme Court.

Now that the US Supreme Court has made their ruling, the question is how long will it take before the best and the brights are working on research for this country. The answer to this question is a long time. The Woke teachers will still be in the schools distracting the intelligent students from moving on into college. The college professors will be making the internet students uncomfortable by teaching Woke and not the academic curriculum. Just because the US Supreme Court paved the way for the best and bright’s to get into research, there is an ocean wave resistance for the students before they ever get to graduate school.

The Woke people will continue to push for inequality in the selection process of college students, since they believe that affirmative action will bring the minorities out of poverty, but it won’t. Unless a person earns everything in life, they have no respect for money. Sure they will earn more funds, but what will they do with the funds? They will probably will not spend the funds on capital investments, since they are use to living a poverty stricken community. They will spend the extra funds on thing like they alway have, like cars, clothing, eating out, entertainment, etc. The best way to get people of poverty is to give them responsibility, and, if they succeed with the given responsibility, then give them more responsibility. As for most children growing up in conservative house holds, they were given responsibility by their parents. If they learned to be responsible, they grow up to be successful leaders in our society. It should be noted, as people move out of the farming community, it becomes harder for parents to give they children responsibleness to be monitor, but creative parents can meet this objective.

The US Supreme Court did make it possible for the best research to come into our society. That is the good news. But, as eluded to above, it will take more time to get the best and brightest back in research, but our society does need the best and brightest in research to meet our societies objectives. As for the vision that the founding fathers had for this county, it will take years to straighten out the college application and social pressures to meet the social needs with the best and brightest in research.
