Journal Entry – Narcissism – No Ideals

Another nice sunny day here in the state of Arkansas with the high of 75 degrees. Again, I got three miles of hiking in this morning. However, with no internet in the camp sites, going to the visitors center twice a day is a little frustrating.

For those that are afflicted by people that use narcissistic human behavior, others may notice that the narcissist has no ideals. By the definition of a narcissist, if they live in their own world, then they have no ideals. If they have to look up to someone, then they cannot be a pagan god of their own world. The following essay will address this issue of no ideals in more detail.

Essay – Narcissism – No Ideals

With a narcissist being so insecure, they have no ideals. They look up to no one. There would is themselves in charge of the world around them, and heaven forbid anyone trying to point out the world from a different perspective than their own. This becomes a gut wrenching issue of the offspring of a narcissist, since the narcissist point of view is the only point of view. As for everyone that is around the narcissist, they gave to find their own way to cope in the narcissist world that can go against all of the logical issues in the real world. And, believe it or not, they will change everything in the real world to fit their world.

A narcissist is head of their own world, since they control what goes on in their world. If someone comes into their world, including their children, with a logical statement, they will forcible tell the person that they are wrong. As for a discussion, lets take uranium 235 that is one of the only atom that splits naturally. When someone tells a narcissist that this atom splits naturally, the narcissist will use every point possible to state that the person is wrong. Furthermore, since the narcissist has no idea on the science behind the splitting of an atom, they will make fools out of themselves making everyone know that they know more about splitting of atoms than anyone else on earth. In the real world, the narcissist will keep going on their bluff until everyone is worn out by the conjecture. But, when looking at the bottom line, the narcissist only proves that they do not know what they are taking about. A narcissist has no time for logic, since they live in their own world.

Let’s take a look at this logic issue from a different perspective. A youth has a responsibility to take the garbage out to the curb every Wednesday evening after supper. So, on one evening after supper, they stated that they would take it out in the morning before school. The narcissist parent stated that garbage go out this evening. The youth states that they have home that they needed to work on this evening. Now, the game is one. Despite the fact that it is perfectly logical for them to take the garbage out in the morning when they would have more time, the narcissist parent, with there high level of insecurity, has to win the argument at all costs. So the narcissist parent puts their hands on their hips and leans forward with a high demanding voice and states, “You will take it out now.” The youth is perplexed and takes the garbage out, but it leaves the youth bruised feeling that they are never listened too, they have no worth, my thoughts and needs mean nothing, and I am not good enough for my parents. As for the narcissist, this thought pattern carries over into their everyday life.

As for people that have spent time obtaining education and experience, the narcissist has not respect for these people and they will do what it takes to bring them down to their level, since the narcissist has to be number one in their world.

With a narcissist being so insecure, they demand that people know that they are the premier experts in everything and they have to win all the time. They cannot show any weakness at any time, and they do not care about the people that they have to hurt in order to feel secure, but this is a self fulfilling prophecy, since there is no way that they will never feel the security that they desire.
