It was almost a perfect fall day here today. When the sun was shining, it was great, but it clouded over this afternoon. It may have been a little cold for the perfect day with a high of 49 degrees, but there was a huge number of people hiking.
Since I have not been living in Whitewater, it is hard for me to remember when my dads carotid artery was fill plaque, but I feel like it was within the last ten years. When the plaque can loose, it flow into my dad’s left eye, and he has been unable to see out of that eye ever since then. Without the proper flow of blood to the eye ball, it has became infected. Without dad saying in these words, he had an emergency surgery to remove the eye ball yesterday. The surgery when fine, but he is sore. Since it must be hurting more than he wants to let on, he call me very late this afternoon.
His prologues is good. Since they left enough of the muscles in his eye socket, they will be able to give him a glass eye that moves with his other eye ball in sox months. This is good.
