This essay will look at the word created. To be obviously frank, science has not progressed to the point that the signers of the Declaration of Independence know anything about semen and eggs associated with human reproduction. But, obvious, they did know that a man and a woman having sex would produce an offspring. However, today, there are those who stated that there are people that are created some way that either gives them privilege or poverty by the fertilization of an egg. If this is true, then the word created in the above state meant is deflected out proportions as the signers had intended.
To give a better feeling of the intentions of the signers is to review the preamble to the United States Constitution: “We the people…”. Since this preamble was written 11 years after the declaration, it can only be assumed that the sign intended the at the work created was meant for all people. This statement does not state we the white people, we the men, we the women, we the rich people, we the just people, we the Christians, or we the black people. It states: We the people of the United States…” We the citizens of the United States.
It would be remiss for anyone to read more into the this statement by the signers than an offspring being born between a man and woman. However, today, there are those who point out that the signers owned slaves implying that the signers believed that blacks were created differently than white people. If this is true, then why did the first draft of the declaration not cover slavery? Although Thomas Jefferson did own slaves, he wrote slavery out to the first draft of declaration, because he did not believe in slavery. He freed his slaves. But, with the southern states not only owning slaves but using then as commodities, slavery was placed back in the declaration, and slavery in the declaration had nothing to do with how people were created.
As we study biology, it take one egg and one sperm to produce an offspring from any race. And the aristocrats from the southern states knew this and there were many black women giving birth to a child from a white father. The offspring became community for the plantation owner. But, if one want to look at this issue from a biological point of view, the mix of race in the offspring will lead to people with better genes.
We are all born into either the same or different races with different back grounds. It may be difficult for us to understand people from other races. As for me, there are characteristics of other races that I do not understand, and sometimes I have a hard time understanding the characteristics of my own race. But, just because we come form different races does not mean that we are created different, since it takes one egg and one sperm to create an offspring.
Therefore, it is wrong to lift one race over another other races. This does become a double edged sward, with some in the race lifted to the point that they look down on others, like Drew Kirkpatrick taking a knee agains the United States Constitution, United States Military, and the United States Service Personnel. With his race being lifted to the point that he feels so embolden that he feels comfortable to become a National out cast that is calling for the destruction of the United States Constitution with a demand that the United State being governed by socialism. On the other side of the sword, there are black feeling that they are suppressed by race. Since they feel trapped with no way out, they lead to killing whites. In 2022, eight-one percent of the homicides were blacks killing whites.
When ever a person becomes a member of a group, there are making a statement that is good, bad, or indifferent. The group can be church, sports, craft, or racial. Since it does not make any difference on the group, a person usually feel comfortable in a group of like people, but some people feel uncomfortable by being in a group, and this can lead to killings.
By the way that people by race are elevated today, it becomes clear that are those that believe that people by race are created differently. By a biological stand point, it take a sperm and an egg to create living organisms on the earth. By taking a look at the socialist movement, it seems like they believe that it requires two sperm and an egg for people of color to be created, since this movement clearly believes that colored people are the dominate, superior, intelligent, and charismatic to walk on earth.
All that we need to do is go back to the preamble of the United States Constitution: We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of LIBERTY to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States. If people are not created the same, then there is no domestic tranquility and there is not general welfare for the citizens. Offspring come from the fertilization of an egg and a sperm. If people are not created the same, then a society will fall apart. As for those that are pushing for socialism, then the statement that All Men are Created Equal is permanently deflected out of shape.
