It got up to 49 degrees today, but with the wind it felt much colder.

I took mom to the doctor and it was a follow up to her COVID diagnose. During the evening with the emergency doctor, she recommended that mom have physical therapy after COVID and I got her a referral. Since she cannot hear since COVID, the doctor found was in her ears. She got a referral to the ears, throat, and nose doctor. From my experience, I have had wax shut off my ear canal with in a week.

I have to write about my grandnephew, Rowen. When my sister’s house was quarantined, he spent four days with me, but not the evenings. But I have taken care of him off and on since then. When I was holding him, I would massage his back. When he was ready of a nap, I would hold him until he feel to sleep. Now that he is crawling, he follows me down the hall. If I switch directions and walk back past him, he switches directions. He come to my feel and puts his arms up wanting me to hold him. After holding him for a while, I would try to put him down, but he would hang on to my clothing preventing me from putting him down, making him so cute in his own way. He is total adorable. Up to a few weeks ago, he would only fuss if he was hungry or tired. But, during the last couple of weeks, he has not been fuss even then. Early Monday evening, I took him, his mother, and sister to his grandmother at a location 20 miles east. For the ride, we put him in the center of the back seat facing forward. On the way, I felt something touching the back of my arm. He was looking at me with his arm extended to me. During the trip, he touched three times and twice with his bottle in his hand. As for a one year old, he knows more about love than seventy five percent of the population. I really love that kid, and I have to get this documented so that I will always remember his love for me.

We are to get four inches of snow tomorrow, so I guess that we will have to see how many we actually get. Since I have been force to walk the sidewalks with the muddy trails; hopefully, I will be able to get back out on the trails.
