Deflection

I am in Wisconsin with the high temperature today of 82 degrees, but, with the way that my day went, I walked 3.15 miles in the middle of the heat. With the high tomorrow of 74 degrees, I guess that I can go walking at any time.

I took a big leap today, since I sent an email stating that I would purchase a travel trailer. Big move, but it seem like the most enjoyable solution that I could come up with in the given obstacles. I do not feel that I am giving up on my home in Northern Wisconsin, just delaying it for a time.

The trailer has a sofa that will sleep two people. But there is an option to replace the sofa with two theater seats for $1,500. After thinking it over and talking to my brother, I am going for the theater seats, since I now spend time reading every morning and watching educational videos. I know, at my age is seems to be a little outrageous watching educational videos, but I have found that I love to learn. If I can figure out a way to type from the theater seats, then I can type these journal entries for there.

Once I have my trailer, I have an invitation from a couple of my cousins to come out to Fort Wayne to spend time with them. An offer that I cannot refuse. Since it will probably be the heat of the summer, I am thinking that I should travel around the north side of Lake Superior. A place that would be a little cooler in temperature.

On Sunday, I got a phone call from my realtor. Although I do not have my house deep cleaned, another realtor should my house and my Realtor stated that I can expect an offer from a single woman. So, first thing this morning, I received an email with a few questions that do not seem like they are show stoppers. But I have not heard anything since then.

Mom’s dementia is about the same. Although she has a short memory span, it does help to have family around. Just before lunch, my sister, Jamie, Raylyn, Rowen, and my brothers were here.

Regarding my conversation with my realtor, she started that there was another party interested in my house. Since it is not deep cleaned, there are only private showings, with a sign out front, but it seems like it should move fast and I will have to see what tomorrow brings.
