It seems like this weather has “flipped its lid.”

Last week, I was getting a thirty minute walks in when it was 39 degrees and the wind was blowing so hard that I was uncomfortable with a sweatshirt on at the time. Saturday was nice and I hiked 3.5 miles in the Amana Nature Center. But this week, it has been in the 90s every day. This morning I got a 40-minute walk in the subdivision, and it was getting to 80 degrees before 9:00. There is no point in driving to trail, if it is going to be over 80 degrees by the time that I get home. And, at 80 degrees, I just love the sweet coming in my eyes, so I carried a towel with me this morning. It is odd though, when I was in my 20s I could not come up with a big enough sweet to come into my eyes. It seems like it is a part of getting older, but I walk at a good clip. Less than twenty minutes per mile, or more than three miles per hour. With the low density air, it does take me longer to walk a mile in this heat. Hopefully, with all of this good exercise, I will loose a few pounds.

With all of the rain that we have had up to this point in time, the vegetation is growing fast. But, according to the US Farm report, only nine percent of the corps were in on Saturday. With the field drying out fast in the 94 degree heat with a hard wind, they farmers are getting the crops in over the past tow days. The rain that was forecast for tonight has been removed, although it seems like it could blow up a rain storm at any time. The weather is to remain unseasonably hot in the foreseeable future with possible rain. The US Farm Report was stating with the current condition, even if there was nice days ahead, the crop will lag behind until after the planting season.

But, if it stays as hot as it has been for the last few days, it seems like the temperature will be in the 100s in August. If it is that hot, it seems like we will be in a drought conditions with the crops and vegetation burning up, and this does not should too good. It seems like we will have to wait to see what happens.

I have been in contact with the travel trailer company, but it is hard to know what to do at this time. I am feel that I will put my house up for sale the first of June. Hopefully, I can have my house in order to show by then, but it is taking time to sort through my things. When I ran out of room to store items, I stated piling thing up (not good). Now I have to find a spot to clean out before I start cleaning my clutter. It seems like it would have been better to deal with my clutter when all of the mail came in the house, but I had to work and did not have the time.

I have picked out my trailer, but now I have to take the risk of selling this house and moving into the trailer. They sent me the purchase information today, so I will need to think through it.

Life’s frustrations and tomorrow is another day.
