This topic is so emotional that it seems like the topic is permanently deflected. And yes, the ruling that the Supreme Court has ruled to move the abortions illegal laws to the states. Unfortunately, there are people protecting this ruling, since their emotions are so high that they cannot see that this is a transfer of responsibility. By reading the US Constitution and the Bill of Right, there is no documentation regarding social programs, including abortion. This has left the Supreme Court justices are wondering how abolition ever become a federal law. Therefore, this essay will cover the issues without any conclusions, since the conclusions are base on individual’s back ground and believes.
A question that comes up is: When does life begin? There are those that would state that it starts at conception when the sperm fertilizes the egg But, up to this point in time, a fetus cannot survive outside of the womb. Even if a fetus serviced in a test tube, the baby/child/adult would not get the physically nourishment, protection, and chemicals and mental health that it needs to survive. In the last trimester, the fetus is able to determine some of the items going on outside of the womb. So, there are people that state that life begins when the fetus breathes it first breath of air.
On the other hand, there are people that believes that any living organism should not be killed. If this is true, then people are killing living organisms for every meal whether it is vegetables, fruit, or animals. But the point here is that we need to eat living organisms to stay alive, and they need to be harvested before they deteriorate. But the topic is human organisms and humans are so precious that they should not be even classified with other organisms. So, there are people that believe that a human organism should not be killed.
People state that a woman should be in control of their own bodies and that they have to right to kill any organisms in their bodies. There are a number of operation that a woman can have to remove living organisms from appendix to cosmetic surgery. But a women can also opt not to have surgery for such things as cancer. Although the discussion is a fetus, a women does have the right to control their bodies. There are those that would argue laws should not control what is going on in a woman’s body.
It can be argued that we life in a sick society. Due to family pressures, a girl can turn to a boyfriend for comfort that can turn into sex. At that age, pregnancy becomes easy for the girl. Since the family pressure is so high with between the girl and the parents, abortion can become the easy way out the girl, and probably the boy, of the mess. Without legalized abortion, a bent coat hanger can become the the method of choice that often can lead to bleeding and even death. For this scenario, there is no good way. But, if we lived in a healthy society, then girl would not have to seek out a boyfriend for comfort but love. To think that we can live in a healthy society is a hypothetical situation, since humans be nature are flawed; or as some would state, we live in a world of sin.
It is often stated that there is nothing more precious that an infant. If the child is wanted, this is a correct statement is correct. But, if a child is not wanted, this situation can become pathetic. Their parents can put them through living torcher every hour of their childhood and their adult life can also become pathetic with some of them in and out of prison their whole life. There is a statistic that show that mass killing is down with abortions. Once again, there needs to be a healthy society. But, since we are the home of the brave, this leads to individualism and make it hard to change our society to meet the needs for health living (this is an understanding statement by our citizens).
It has stated that people use abortions instead of birth control. But it would seem that the cost of the abortion would be more than the cost of counter conception, and it would seem like the abortion would have an affect on the women’s genitals. However, it is human nature to get so caught up with passion and reality is forgotten.
Even William Shakespeare wrote a play about a coupe falling in love outside of their class that lead to their deaths. With the individualism in this country today, it is conceivable that the parents of a young couple will not approve of the union. Then, if the two conceives an fetus in the womb, this could put an overwhelming amount of stress on the couple that could lead to an abortion. If an abortion is not legal, what are the type of actions that the couple will take. The sad part of this whole issue, as Shakespeare was eluding too, this type of pregnancy happens to loving caring people.
People state that adoption is the answer, but it does not always work out. Once a child figures out that they are not living with the biological parents, life can become difficult around the house. The child can simply state that their biological parent’s would not treat them the same way, when the child simply does not know why they were given up for adoption. There are also many characteristics and mannerisms that come down with the child that the adoptive parents are not aware of raising a child. Even in the best circumstances, it seems like the child will often seek out their biological parents with either understand or disbelief that they were adopted. Without a question of a doubt, adoption is an answer to an unexpected pregnancy.
When a woman loses a fetus, it can be detrimental to the her mental heath for years to come. The same can probably be stated about a woman having an abortion. But, if the father is a sensitive person, it can probably just as hard on him. It can be imagine the parents wondering in the years to come on what the child would have looked like, as if the physical feature would come from the mother or father. They would wonder about the child’s mannerisms. As the years past, they would wonder if their preparation for the child would lead to a well balanced life. For conscientious parents, it seems like these thoughts would never go away. And, if there is one reason against abortion, it is the hollow feelings that the parents are left with for the rest of their lives is the reason.
The Tenth Amendment states, “The power not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, not prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the State respectively, or to the people.” Therefore, the states are to determine if abortions are to be legal in their states. This make sense, since the states feel the pulse of the local people better than at the federal level. The US Constitution is to protect the US citizens from all enemies that are either foreign or domestic. Regarding the purpose of the US Constitution, it becomes a little hard to comprehend that the abortion of a fetus would be a threat to the United States.
Once it is determent that a fetus is unwanted, there is no good answer on what should be done with the fetus. Having the child born in an unwanted home is probably the worst answer the situation. Adoption is probably an acceptable answer. But, as with abortions, there is no good answer, when weighing the pros and cons. What ever the answer is for the parents, it is an issue that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. As with most decisions, it is best for the people on the outside to give advise, but not to become dictator that only leads too hard feels this the years to come between he parents and others, with others including the government.
Without a question of a doubt, the abortion issue is deeply filled with emotions. As stated above, once the fetus is determined to be unwanted, the parent, if they are conscientious, will feel their decision for the rest of heir lives. But, with this issue recently coming to the forefront, it should have never been a federal law. Regarding this issue, it will continue to deflect from position to position as the years pass considering that it is a highly emotional issue.
